[MP3 RIPPER] FREERIP

FREERIP is a free program that rips .cda files to MP3 file. If you dont know the name of the songs it usually gets the information from the net , nice neat and quite respectable program that some influental friend suggested

Not only does it rip mp3 file it also does .ogg .WAV and is a very powerful audio converting tool.

Freerip is great. Fast and best of all free!
I also use dbPower for normalizing the volume of my mp3's.

Thanks for the tip chaps, I'll check this one out as I have a friend who can't find a suitable program for his ol' machine.... does it run on win '98?

download.com said it was adware supported so do other software download sites.
Warning: This software asks to install a non-spyware toolbar. You must uncheck the box that says "Install the MySearch toolbar" before the software installs. It's not tricky; the choice is right in the middle of the installer page but could be missed if you're not careful.
